The Parent, Teacher, and Student Association (PTSA) of Young Men's Preparatory Academy (The Prep) was chartered in 2009 to provide support to Miami-Dade County's first male single gender school dedicated to leadership and academics, aimed at preparing young men to attend college. The PTSA has supported a number of initiatives to promote the mission and vision of this institution.

 

Today the PTSA is actively engaged in enhancing student life by improving community awareness in the school by working with community partners, stakeholders, and the school board to provide opportunities for better visibility of our students. Through our parents, we are providing support to our teachers and administration by organizing volunteers to assist in every aspect of school operations.

 

Our President and Vice Presidents are working closely with our school's administration to ensure that parents take an active role in making sure that the needs of our young men are met. Members of our Board are at the school each day to provide support in a variety of ways that allows us to play an active role in school life.
